With this ambitious and cultured project, aptly titled Genius and Poetry, Grittini surpasses the limit, that limit which not everyone is allowed to cross. A limit surpassed to substantiate what Genius, Art, and Poetry nourish.
Leonardo and Merini brought back to life to tell us: “We exist because you have summoned us and for this we return to you as a gift what time has faded, but your passion Giuliano, like your intellect, dusts off, nourishes, and brings back to new life.” Here then are those Leonardesque horses that have become Technological Genius, Art, Poetry, and also History. A horse on whose back carries the poetics of a poetess who has proven herself beyond the limit.
Grittini’s artistic practice, like his Genius, chooses not one, but three Leonardesque horses to show us that their new race will be able to postpone true Art. And that even the rust of that steel flows, like drops of sweat for that race of powerful animals that carry far away.
